What Are We, Chopped Liver?

For the past (almost) twenty years I have watched the prepper movement slip from a noble pursuit to a hodge-podge of “experts” who think they have attained the pinnacle of preparedness and sell their books and courses to prove it. Not for one minute do I doubt their seriousness or their incentives to promote preparedness but it has become an almost fully commercial endeavor. People are hurting but they will reluctantly dispense their capital to gain knowledge as what to do to protect themselves and their families. This is what family heads do and what they were created to do – protect their families.

The problem lies with the state of the world as it is. Humanity is on a tightrope a thousand feet up with nothing to balance with. To not mince words, politicians do not give one big damn what happens to those ‘cheap seat’ citizens who just try to get by. If you don’t believe me look what has happened in North Carolina and Florida, just to name two places. Unless your head is buried in the sand you absolutely MUST know that corruption exists everywhere and the average John Q and Jane Q are in big trouble.

Our charter on the Preparedness-Survival forum is (and always has been) ‘we teach, you learn; you teach, we learn’. We have never, never, never had a single advertisement nor have we tried to sell anything such as books or ‘super food supplements’. Our knowledge base is free to discuss, study, enhance, and interact with fellow United States preppers ways to improve our safety. It does not take a PhD to recognize that as you increase the level of your own personal security and by teaching others, that things become a little more secure for you and your families. Even though we on this forum have probably never met in person we have the pride of knowing who our friends are. Friends exchange knowledge without the need to sell it or require anything in return. KNOWLEDGE IS FREE

Our online ‘family’ treats each other as ‘family’ and don’t try to force-feed an ideology to each other. Discussion is with respect, not with animosity. Again, we have no advertisements, no mailing lists, no pop-ups, and no insults of any kind. We believe that knowledge is free and we give it away. At this writing our Lost Library has over 1,400 volumes of free documents and books for use of our members. Not a price tag on any one of them.
