Planted some tomato, pea, pepper, watermelon, radish, carrots and romaine lettuce last week. Everything is starting to spout except the peas. Will put the tomato’s and peppers in a homemade topsy turvy.

Garden is planted!! Haven't seen a frost in almost ten days now!

I went to an auction and bought 2 shovels and 2 rakes for $1. A large crock for $1. A stool full of sewing items for $2. A brand new external hard drive for $6. Several cases of canning jars for $1. An entire case of new lids and rings for $1. 3 military gas cans and one regular metal gas can full of gas for $30. Two shot gun cleaning kits for $2 and one army issue cleaning kit for $7. A box full of the old scissors that really work for $2!!!!! I also bought 20 of the round metal tomato stakes for $1 but someone took them. They sold a lot of ammo but I did not buy any. I know a full case of 22s went for $29 though. They sold a player piano with 5 large boxes of rolls for $5. I really wanted that but I didn't think I would be able to carry it home! I also bought a solid wood dresser for $2. It was almost pitiful what things were selling for. There is so much stuff packed in that house though that you can hardly tell much was missing. I would not want to be this auctioneer since this home could be a career.
